Job Description:
Possess a good working knowledge of telecommunications network structure; familiarity with fiber optic cable, splice enclosures and the functionality of each; ability to use fusion splicing equipment; ability to read fiber matrices; ability to interpret and analyze data; and, ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.
Possess knowledge in all types of fiber cable splicing activity, test equipment and use of all types of cable construction equipment.
Test and troubleshoot work after completion.
Install, repair and test fiber in a variety of environments.
Connect and rearrange cable facilities, utilizing special test equipment to test for and locate trouble and perform cable completion tests.
Job Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least Vocational Diploma/ Short Course Certificate in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
With at least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Work Experience in Telecommunication Company is an advantage.
Knowledge and experience in Fiber installation (fiber optic splicing, cabling, and communication)
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
