Job Description
JOB SUMMARY :
The FG Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily warehouse activities - receiving and storing of finished goods, managing inventory levels, loading, and dispatch, by implementing quality, safe, productivity, and customer service standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : * Maintains inventory by receiving, storing, and delivering finished goods, securing warehouse, supervising staff and products.
Reviews and analyzes inventory of warehouse stocks and recommends necessary actions.
Coordinates with QA Department on the quality status of finished goods ensuring that proper action is performed on non-conforming products.
Monitors and verify inventory accuracy.
Secure the completeness of finished goods items prepared versus delivery requirements.
Monitors the efficiency of the warehouseman to their preparation for delivery if finished good items are complete and in good condition.
Monitors Inventory level and stocks availability.
Plans and coordinates resources needed to achieve operational targets.
Monitors and controls the movement of finished goods documentation; all transactions are properly documented.
Performs a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
Performs planning of warehouse layouts to maximize inventory controls, facility layout, facility flow, process flow, and related data analysis
Controls and organizes storage and inventory space
Reviews warehouse work processes through strategic planning in order to create a more efficient fulfillment system
Safekeeping of finished products, cleanliness, and orderliness of the warehouses are maintained at all times.
Ensures compliance to Cycle Count and Monthly-End Count Inventory.
Prepares inventory and loading operations' standard reports.
Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
General Tasks * Performs jobs other than the current assignment under the following situations:
When the employee assigned to do the task in question is on leave.
When the employee assigned to do the task in question is out of the work area due to other assignments such as official business trips, fieldwork, special projects, attending seminars or training.
When the employee assigned to do the task in question is assigned to do jobs of higher priority.
2. Complies any or all of the following as may be assigned or required:
Be a core group member in any of the company's Integrated Programs
Be a member of QIT within the department and may be requested to be a member in a cross-functional project team.
3. Actively participates in company programs and during meetings and discussions and come up with suggestions for improvement in the areas of quality, efficiency, productivity, security and safety, sanitation and food safety, environment, waste reduction, sustainability, social responsibility and risk management.
4. Takes an active role in the implementation and maintenance of systems such as ISO and 5S/GMP/HACCP.
5. Performs other related tasks as may be directed by the Immediate Team Leader or Department Head.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
College Graduate preferably of Industrial Engineering background
EXPERIENCE
At least 3 years in warehousing operations and supervisory functions
COMPETENCIES
I. Knowledge
Knowledge of basic mathematics.
Knowledge of office and administrative practices related to warehousing.
II. Skills
Ability to lead, motivate, train and teach people.
Ability to establish good working relationships and rapport with other people.
Computer literacy in data processing and company-required softwares.
Capability of handling confidential matters.
Ability to effectively communicate well with other people (both written and verbal)
Skill in record keeping.
Additional Information
Willing to extend working hours and holidays.
With night and day shift.
