Job Description
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for supervising the general warehouse operations and activities including receipts of goods from production, storage and conduct of stock checks, loading and dispatch of deliveries, documentation of warehouse transactions and records, and quality control.
Performs Warehousing Tasks * Develops warehouse planning methods, warehouse storage and lay-out plans.
Organizes the execution of operations based on the different warehouse situations and contingencies.
Monitors warehouse space utilization levels.
Address operational shortfall, maintenance or repair needs.
Monitors warehouse and operational performance.
Performs planning activities within the business operations.
Ensures compliance of food safety and good housekeeping based on the standard requirements of 5S, HACCP, GMP, Halal, ISMS, and ISO.
Stocks Management * Monitors the finished goods receiving activity to ensure proper put away, and timely, accurate and complete system recording.
Initiates collaboration with Production and QA Department on quality status of finished goods ensuring that proper action is performed on Off-grade and non-conforming products.
Implements SOP of pallet management as defined in the Warehouse and Distribution procedures.
Coordinates with contractors on loading manpower requirements, schedules and equipment requirements of loading operations.
Safekeeping of finished products, cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouses are maintained at all times.
Qualifications
Education:
College Graduate of any course but preferably of Industrial Engineering background
Experience:
At least 1 to 2 years in related work
