Job Description
Lead and define overall architecture, design, principles, guidelines, standard and best practices of network security technology in the Bank for project solutioning
Ensure that the solution adheres and align with the Bank's standards
Provide technical leadership, directions and translate technology into effective and practical business use cases
Actively engage the network security operation team to understand the challenges and incorporate addressing operational challenges into part of the solutions deliverables
Drive RFP process (Request for Proposal) which includes below:
Review User requirement specifications
Develop specifications (function requirements & understanding of existing system)
Conduct Market Scan / Research to determine the technologies available
Determine the project scope, cost and schedules
Identify the resources and technical SMEs
Identify the Risks of and effectively communicate to Stakeholder
Work with procurement department to deliver the RFP and adhere to the procurement policies
Conduct POC (Proof of Concept) on technology suits the requirements
Produce Evaluation scoring, Technology & Vendor recommendation
Produce solution report and Business paper proposal
Collaborate extensively with technical delivery teams during handover of solutions to projects to ensure alignment of best practices and standards are adopted and executed in all aspect of operations and project implementation
Work closely with Project Management to deliver solution

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in R&S or DC
Strong academic knowledge of digital security technology and process backed by qualification from a recognized institute, e.g. CISSP, IISP, CISM
At least 7-10 years of relevant working experience, with the 5 years in large scale network security design, deployment, and implementation
Thorough understanding of Next Generation Firewall/IPS technologies and vendors product offerings such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point and Cisco
Thorough understanding of Web Application Firewall and vendors product offerings such as F5 and Imperva
Thorough understanding of Content Delivery Network (CDN) and vendors product offerings such as CloudFlare and Akamai
Thorough understanding of Multi-Vendor Firewall Management solutions and vendors product offerings such as AlgoSec and Tufin
Strong technical knowledge in network security high availability design, implementation, considerations and tuning
Experience in network automation via scripting (e.g. Python, Ruby) or tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef)
Candidate with banking working experience is an added advantage.
