supports TIER 1 level analysis of maverick (MPE ) , customer returns and reliability failures including sample preparation as well as other basic FA support.
supports engineering activities such as sample preparation and inspection , package decapsulation , continuity and basic leakage /functional device testing.
works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
performs basic operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions.
uses manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus.
Qualifications
A graduate of any technical course , preferably with electronic, chemical , mechanical or electrical technical related disciplines.
Knowledgeable in semiconductor product manufacturing process flow and associated visual/mechanical failure criteria.
Good understanding of test datalog result interpretation.
Good understanding of acid, solvents and other relevant chemicals as well as safety protocols in the wet laboratory.
Good understanding of basic circuit diagrams and use of bench tools such as DMM, oscilloscope and power supplies.
Knowledgeable in some basic failure analysis process and sample preparation. Previous hands on exposure on any of the various FA tools and basic operation is advantageous but not totally required.
Good attention to details and with proficiency in written /oral English based reports.
Willing to work in shifting schedules.
Good hands on skill in using MS Office tools and apps.
Prioritizes safety and 5S in the workplace.
