Job Description Summary: Job Description: Responsibilities: Timely response to internal/external customer requests for FIB support Enable Analog to meet failure analysis cycle time and quality commitments Basic Requirements: Strong technical understanding of how a diode, transistor, and operational amplifier works Good written and oral communication skills in English Good troubleshooting skills Ability to read circuit schematics Ability to use basic electronic test and measuring instruments such as oscilloscopes power supplies multimeters function generators Analog / Digital circuitry and mixed-signal skills are a plus Chemistry lab experience is a plus Additional Requirements for experienced candidates: 5+ years of experience in Failure Analysis, Product Engineering, Test, or Design Experience operating FA equipment, SEM, FIB, X-Ray, etc. is a plus Ability to use a curve tracer and optical microscope Experience reading or creating GDSII files Experience supporting the Automotive industry is a plus Fab and/or assembly process experience is a plus Direct hands-on experience with Maxim products is a plus Sample cross-sectioning skills are a plus Experience working with Wafer Level / Chip Scale packages is a plus Education: Work Experience: Non - Manager Pay Rate Type: Salary Eligible for Relocation: No Eligible for Work Visa Sponsorship: No This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations including but not limited to US Government International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), US Export Administration Regulations (EAR), or US Treasury Regulations.
