Job description Responsible for the execution of comprehensive failure analysis for failure mode simulation, root cause identification and solution recommendation to improve product quality and reliability Perform and/or interpret electrical and ma Job description Responsible for the execution of comprehensive failure analysis for failure mode simulation, root cause identification and solution recommendation to improve product quality and reliability Perform and/or interpret electrical and material failure analysis such as optical and acoustic inspection, X-ray imaging (2D and 3D), electrical verification (curve trace, bench test, ATE), decapsulation, delayering, fault isolation, and physical/chemical analysis (SEM-EDS, FTIR, AES, TOF-SIMS, FIB) Publish accurate and timely reports, supporting cycle time and quality commitments Collaborate with Process Development, Assembly and Test Engineering, Reliability and Supplier Quality in evaluating product functionality and performance in various stages of product development and mass production Contribute to laboratory management upholding the highest standards of quality and safety Profile B.S. in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or Chemistry Functional knowledge in the physics of device failures, chemistry of material failures, basic circuit design and analysis (wafer and board level), IC assembly and test, failure verification and data log interpretation Proficient in the use and maintenance of bench equipment such as oscilloscopes, source meters, signal generators and the likes At least 3 years' experience in a failure analysis laboratory in a semiconductor or electronics field Strong solution-focused work ethic with good analytical and troubleshooting skills, and a high degree of flexibility supporting multiple projects of varying complexity and priority Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino Ability to work independently and as part of a team who thrives in a dynamic work environment
