Description * The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible of maintaining the company's internal and external facilities to be functional & good working condition. It includes the monitoring of electrical facilities and solar pv system as well as mechanical workability of facilities equipment like compressors & generator sets. Provides support to the needs of production by rendering technical assistance in electrical repairs, adjustment or any additional structural elements of the facilities.
· Perform basic or minor electrical repairs.
· Maintain & operates air compressors & generator set in cases of MERALCO power interruption.
· Perform repair of water piping's.
· Check & maintain air conditioning units. Perform minor repairs as needed. Conduct preventive maintenance as per schedule.
· Perform minor electrical repairs & troubleshooting of facility equipment's.
Conduct actual testing of fire alarm detection and alarm system & hydro testing of fire hose cabinet
Management
· Responsible to meet departmental productivity & quality goals.
· Ensures the safe & functional environment of the whole facilities; makes reportorial requirements are properly communicated with superior.
· Ensures that all confidential information and documents are strictly maintained.
· Ensures that the sectional otp is faithfully followed & 5S & safety are strictly practiced.
Perform other duties as maybe assigned by the superior.
Communication
· Communicate effectively with interrelated section, leader & supervisors.
· Practice and maintain high level of professionalism and business ethics
Provides necessary information across organization
Education and Experience
· Graduate of technical courses preferable electrical or mechanical engineering.
· Facility maintenance acquired in the same manufacturing set up.
Competencies and Knowledge
Knowledgeable on the following:
Can interpret single line diagram.
Has the ability to organize, prioritize and handle various assignments.
Pro-active and able to work with minimal supervision.
Able to handle shop hand tools and machining equipment.
Working Condition
· Exposures intermittently to long stand, lifting & crawl into confined spaces or climb ladder to reach high places.
Works longer or extended hours if required & necessary.
