SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Facilities Technician is responsible to support Operations / Facilities / Utility requirements and compliance for Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/FMS Systems. This position will report to the Facilities sustaining supervisor
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Supports all Facilities / Operations Systems (for Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/FMS).
-Prepares weekly reports and updates needed by the team.
-Have basic chemical handling training
-Work with Engineer and Project Manager on Facilities monitoring program (trending, alarm set-points, warning limits, alarm annunciation, etc)
-Maintains Chemical Dispensing System (CDS), preventive maintenance, metrology tools, etc.
-Supports Facilities SPC program, develops FMS SPC graphs/ monitoring, etc.
-Continuous improvement of Chemical Dispensing system, Identify and implement development/improvement programs in support of departmental goals and objectives.
-Assists with RFP, the scope of works, etc. for installation of mechanical modifications, installation of mechanical tools and equipment, etc.
-The position will require overtime and being on-call.
-Complies at all times with the Environment, Health, and Safety, and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules, and regulations
-Performs other duties may be assigned
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor's or Vocation course graduate preferably Engineering and Industrial Technology courses.
-Minimum of 2 years of Facilities-related experience.
-Good presentation and communication skills.
-Willing to work in shifting schedule.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Knowledge of Mechanical / Electrical / FMS / Chemical processes is an advantage.
-ERT member is an advantage
