About the job:
Texas Instruments is looking for a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. As a Facilities Technician, you will perform technical tasks in support of engineering and maintenance activities involving the construction, design, specification, startup and operation of the facility's mechanical, chemical and electrical systems or the installation of semiconductor manufacturing tools.
Clark Facility Overview
TI Clark Facilities is a Gold Certified LEED Building by the US Green Building Council which operates and maintains over 150 different utility systems that includes chemicals, Gases, Electrical, Water, HVAC, Waste, Vacuum and Controls. These systems are designed to run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year without interruption creating a state of the art manufacturing environment. Facilities works closely with different teams in the organization to understand how the utility systems impact manufacturing process as well as how to optimized the energy consumed by the Factory.
Primary Responsibilities:
Facilities Shift Leader: Leads Tiers and inhouse contractor during a shift and make sure that all activities are complying to Facilities requirements and protocols for Safety, reliability and 5S.
Preventive Maintenance: Hands-on operation and maintenance of the TI Facility equipment to make sure that all are within normal working conditions
Prepare and monitor programs for the operation and maintenance of facilities equipment's and utilities.
Prepare and monitor programs related to building services
Interface with concerned employees on the status of maintenance activities and equipment/system.
Troubleshoot facilities equipment to ensure customer requirement is met 24/7
Monitor and interpret monitoring log sheet to ensure operating parameters are within specification.
Implement various upgrades to improve operation of current system and in support to Energy conservation programs.
Perform the task of tracking down spares and inventory.
Developing and reviewing maintenance and operations procedures to ensure best practices are in place and documented properly.
Monitoring requested projects for both facilities, building and manufacturing equipment related installations
Prepare, store and manage layouts related to all projects executed to make sure drawings are up to date for future reference.
Perform other related duties as required by the immediate facilitator from time to time.
Respond to facilities emergencies timely 24/7
Support other team's project execution to ensure Safety, Reliability and Quality is met.
Conduct Job Hazard Analysis, Field Assessment, Reliability Assessment, and other field verifications applicable to ensure that proper working conditions are met to avoid any disruptions to operation.
Minimum Requirements:
The jobholder must have a 2(two) years technical course and a technical exposure in the operation of facilities and system.
At least 1 year professional experience working in semiconductor environment and in similar role
Certification - NC1 or NC2 (Safety, Electrical, HVAC, Vibration, Thermography, or any relevant discipline) is a plus.

Able to use basic tools for equipment maintenance (Ammeter, Flow meter, Vibration instruments, etc...)
Possess strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Strong customer service orientation and ability to take ownership for issue resolution
Basic understanding in CMMS (Computerize Maintenance Management System)
Basic knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, safety and electrical aspects.
Basic understanding in Building Services programs involving Building Maintenance, Cleaning services, Pest Control, Grounds and Site appearance.
Knowledge in control system and SCADA
Ability to analyze existing systems and associated monitoring equipment to troubleshoot and resolve problems
Basic understanding in process and instrumentation diagrams, Sequence of operations and panel drawings
