SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Mechanical Facilities Technician is responsible to support Operations / Facilities / Utility requirements and compliance for Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / FMS Systems. This position will report to the Facilities Sustaining Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Supports all Facilities / Operations Systems (for Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/FMS).
-Prepares daily, weekly, quarterly reports and updates needed by the team.
-Monitoring and Maintenance of Facilities Mechanical systems such as CDA, HVAC, PHW, PVAC.
-Work with Engineers and Manager on Facilities monitoring program (trending, alarm set-points, warning limits, alarm annunciation, etc)
-Attended on other calls from customers (MFG, etc)
-Supports Facilities SPC program, Improvements and cost savings in support to departmental goals and objectives
-Inventory of spare parts for mechanical systems and create RFP/RFQ to PR.
-The position will require overtime and being on-call.
-Complies at all times the Environment, Health, and Safety and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules, and regulations
-Performs other duties may be assigned
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor's Degree or Vocational Course Graduate, preferably Engineering and Industrial Technology courses.
-Minimum of 3 years of facilities-related experience.
-Knowledge in Mechanical / Electrical and controls
-Good presentation and communication skills.
-Positive working attitude and willingness to work in shifting schedule.
