SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Facilities Technician is responsible to support Operations / Facilities / Utilities requirements and compliance for Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/FMS Systems. This position will report to Facilities Project Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Supports all Facilities / Operations Systems (for Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/FMS).
-Prepares weekly report and updates needed by the team.
-For FMS, assist with the Design and Installation of FMS System, Life Safety Systems, Fire Alarm System, and other Facilities Automation systems.
-Work with Engineer and Project Manager on Facilities monitoring program (trending, alarm set-points, warning limits, alarm annunciation, etc)
-Maintains FMS system, preventive maintenance and calibration and field devices, etc.
-Supports Facilities SPC program, develop FMS SPC graphs/ monitoring, etc.
-Continuous improvement of FMS, Identify and implement automation programs in support to departmental goals and objectives.
-Assists with RFP, scope of woks, etc. for installation of FMS modifications, install of field devices, etc.
-Position will require overtime and being on-call.
-Complies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules and regulations
-Performs other duties may be assigned
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor's or Vocation course graduate preferably Engineering and Industrial Technology courses.
-Minimum of 3 years Facilities related experience.
-Knowledge in Mechanical / Electrical / FMS / Chemical Process is an advantage.
-Good presentation and communication skills.
-Willing to work in shifting schedule.
