Job Description:
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: * Coordinates and provides technical support, guidance and report progress of assignments to the immediate superior.
Ensures the availability of replacement parts, chemicals, tools and other materials by maintaining adequate levels of stock. Ensures that items are kept in an organized, clean and safe environment.
3. Maintains plant Facilities Maintenance such as but not limited to AC units, Air Compressors, Air Dryer, Process Vacuum unit, Supply and Exhaust fans, Plumbing, Electrical System, Fire Detection and Alarm System, etc.
4. Performs work order repairs, inspections, evaluations and adjustments of facilities equipment.
5. Performs fabrication and modification requirement of new and existing Facilities equipment.
6. Acts as the primary contact for all regional personnel for any building issues (climate control, odors, smoke, spills, damage, emergencies and repairs).
7. Monitors contractor performance and works closely with outside vendors and
contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications and scope of works.
8. Acts as the project coordinator for all size projects including large scale repair and new facility construction projects.
9. Assists with maintaining building security and immediately responds to building
emergencies on a 24-hour basis.
10. Performs immediate cleaning duties necessary to maintain clean facility.
11. Participates in plant safety, health and environmental programs.
12. Performs other maintenance duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications:
Education: Vocational/Technical Course
Experience: At least one (1) to two (2) years of related experience to include practical knowledge of maintenance trades.
Skills/Technical Requirements:
Knowledge of basic Mathematics and English
Computer literate (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point).
Judgment and problem-solving capabilities in reviewing service requests for repairs and maintenance.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Physical Demands/Strengths: Ability to lift 25 pounds, ability to push, pull, lift, climb, stand, walk and stoop.
Job Conditions: Intermittent or constant noise; exposed to outdoor/indoor elements.
Protective Devices Required: In required areas.
