- Managing the logistics of international moves including the booking of vessels, aircraft, and organizing the equipment required to complete the move
- Preparing House Waybills and loading plans
- Liaising with Operations department regarding transportation to and from shipping terminals of containers/air pallets and confirmation of volumes
- Preparing documentation for the shipping lines and then forwarding on to our international partners promptly
- Liaise with international agents regarding rates and the status of air and sea shipments
- Approving international agent and shipping companies' creditor invoices
- Invoicing AMG agents for international origin services
- Provide sea freight and destination services rates for sales staff (nationally) and agent offices
A Successful Candidate Must Have
- Ability to perform and succeed in an exports role
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Well-groomed appearance and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proven administration skills
- Computer skills
- Thorough understanding of the removals and shipping industry
