*The Experienced Video Animator new hire is expected to work from home for the mean time due to COVID. Once everything is back to normal, the Experienced Video Animator new hire will be expected to report in either our IT Park or JY offices in Cebu.
General Description: The Experienced Video Animator will read through scripts and speak with stakeholders to understand project needs, create storyboards and animations, and assist in the editing process. We are looking for a disciplined and artistic animator with a firm grasp on animation techniques, fundamentals, and software.
Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu
Responsibilities:
Reports to the Director of Global Marketing
Collaborates with other members of the marketing team to understand needs, review scripts, design storyboards, and create and edit animations.
Create 2D or 3D animations or motion graphics
Create explainer videos, Lowerthirds, Animated Brand Videos, and Marketing Videos
Listens to feedback and alters animations to better suit client needs.
Ensures that the final product aligns with the needs of the client and is delivered on time.
Uses creativity and artistic techniques to tell a story or provide information in visual form.
Researches industry trends and developments and learns new applications.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or certificate in computer animation, fine arts, graphic design, or related field.
Animation Portfolio.
Experience in working for brands with American audiences.
Proficient with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Attention to detail, adaptability, and receptiveness to feedback and direction.
Understanding of animation, storytelling, and character development techniques.
More education, experience, or proficiency with specific animation software platforms may be preferred.
Experience in working with healthcare / tech companies is a plus.
