Responsibilities:
·        Design, implement, and support Windows-based environments running on VMware hypervisors.
·        Design, implement and support VMware Horizon environments focusing on instant and linked clones, app volumes, and dynamic environment manager.
·        Install and configure vSphere on physical servers (primarily Cisco and Dell)
·        Rack & stack physical servers at client locations or in the datacenter.
·        Provide Windows group policy design, implementation, and support with a focus on mapping drives & printers.
·        Produce artifacts as necessary, tailored to the client's needs, including Visio diagrams, requirements documentation, reports, etc.
·        Be proficient in using PowerShell to complete day to day systems administration tasks.
 
Requirements
·        Candidate must have an understanding and interest in the small business environment dynamics.
·        B.S. degree in an IT-related field; equivalent work experience will be considered;
·        Have a “current” VMware VCP certification;
·        Exceptional customer focus and strong professional acumen;
·        Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
·        Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
·        Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments;
·        Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and creative-thinking skills.
 
Previous experience working for a Managed IT Services firm that specializes is a plus.
Previous experience working with ConnectWise is a plus.
