Job Function: Expeditor
Job Responsibilities
. Assist in the handling of complex material expediting within established Material Management Plans, policies, and procedures
. Perform expediting activities for engineered equipment and materials in accordance with the Material Management Plan
. Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
. Perform data entry into and monitor and run reports accordingly using the Material Management Work Process
. Other responsibilities as assigned
Job Qualifications
. Preferably Filipino, Engineering graduate, at least 5 years of work-related experience.
. Experience should be primarily in the area of Expediting.
. Good English speaking/writing skills, willing to work on flexible working shifts.
. Good leadership and decision-making skills.
. Pro-actively manage suppliers and sub-suppliers.
. Able to promote swift detection and resolution of potential issues at the earliest possible stage.
Basic Job Requirements
. Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and three (3) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to seven (7) years if non-degreed some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
. Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
. Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
. Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
. Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
