This position works collaboratively with Vice President, Quality Assurance, Department Representatives, Client Practices and Billing Operations Personnel (i.e. internal and external customers) to provide administrative support and issue resolution. To be successful in this role, you should be persistent, well-organized, proactive, communicate effectively, have great time management skills and be able to act without guidance.
The ideal candidate is one that has previous experience as an Executive Assistant and/or Lead Generation, Business Development, or Sales Generation duties. The ideal candidate is one who will is relentless in finding a way around a dead-end in tracking down the correct person in the firm to get our contracts done.
The Executive Assistant helps the Vice President with corresponding (in email or through phone) with practices (clinics, hospitals, doctors), and insurance companies in order to accomplish contract-related tasks such as capturing countersigned copies, document filing, notifications, dissemination, accessibility, adherence and timely renegotiation.
Responsibilities: * Act as the point of contact between executives and employees/clients
Create regular reports and updates
Appropriately and properly to emails on behalf of the Vice President
Schedule sending out follow up emails. Be unrelenting in sending follow up emails.
Be tenacious and resourceful in finding a way to get a response or finding a way to reach a particular person in order to get our answers and move our contracts along.
Manage phone calls and emails
Respond promptly to the Vice President's and third-party queries
Facilitate internal communication to other departments
Review existing and new contracts
Other relevant duties may be assigned from time to time
Qualification and Requirements:
Education: At least a bachelor's degree holder of any course
Work experience: must have experience working for an executive, or any work experience as an executive assistant.
Work experience: must have work experience that requires persistent following up.
Probing and analytical tendencies are desired.
Ability to independently complete projects in a timely manner
Preference: work experience in the healthcare industry, in administrative, or sales capacity
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Previous call center experience related to Medical Accounts and Programs is a plus
