Job Descriptions
Develops financial well-being of the organization by providing financial projections and accounting services, preparing growth plans.
Establishes finance operational strategies by evaluating trends;
Establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; and implementing change.
Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; and developing action plans.
Perform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments
Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
Control and evaluate the organization's fundraising plans and capital structure
Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations
Supervise all finance personnel (controllers, treasurers etc.)
Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
Set up and oversee the company's finance IT system
Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies
Manage team of financial controllers and financial analysts.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; MBA is a plus
Certified Public Accountant is a strong advantage
A minimum of 5 years' proven experience (Australian account is a plus)
Outstanding tax knowledge of local, state and federal regulations
In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Must have superior communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
High integrity and trustworthiness in handling sensitive and confidential information
