Your primary responsibilities:
• Perform monthly Risk, KPI and Opportunities analysis to inform Leadership
• Help prepare budget updates presentations for various businesses, which will be used for taking operational actions and making strategic decisions
• Analyse special projects and investments for senior management, and conduct secondary market research where necessary
• Financial data mining, modelling and analytics to identify strategic opportunities, support new initiatives, and measure progress on critical goals
• As this is a business-oriented role, you will be working closely with management to identify risks and opportunities based on financial performance.
• You will also be developing dashboards and using business intelligence tools to report and review key performance indicators.
• Coordinating and drafting relevant narratives for Operating Plans and other identified initiatives
• Writing monthly reports and presentations for management, both on regular business, as well as new investments
• Tracking progress of specific business units.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of reporting and/or consolidation, financial planning and analysis, developing complex Excel based reports and/or models and using financial reporting tools
• The successful candidate must display initiative in anticipating and exceeding the business demands of management.
• This person must thrive in a fast-paced environment and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.
• A BA/BS degree in finance and/or financial engineering
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - can write high quality reports
• Highly analytical and detail oriented
• Ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
