YOUR ROLE
To be responsible for managing the process improvement function and ,where/when relevant, supporting the department manager/team leader for process improvement implementation. This role undertakes the functional and disciplinary leadership as per relevant organizational structure and ensures methodical, professional and open leadership as well as coaching of this team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
To be responsible for the delivery of day to day process support for operations and management through supporting our sea freight processes (including systems involved) in cooperation with the regional team.
To oversee and ensure the delivery of process improvement projects with the objective of productivity and/or quality enhancement with lean methodology.
To ensure high operational data quality via analysis, review and action planning together with the Sea Freight Management
To drive process improvement, process re-engineering and support the implementation of changed processes to improve the quality and productivity of operational processes and systems.
To drive the analysis of operational procedures for both customers and suppliers and assist with documenting and producing solutions.
To provide work packages to the National Systems and Process Managers and follow up with them to ensure that project deliverables are provided on time and according to quality standards.
To apply project management in compliance with lean methodologies to ensure a controlled and structured implementation, as well as assisting in planning and execution of project tasks
To monitor and follow up on project deliverables
To strive for productivity increase and optimization of operational processes to ensure better quality and customer satisfaction, via Automation and Macro
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Bachelor's degree related to logistics or supply chain management is required
Six Sigma or professional certification in logistics is desirable
Experience in Sea Logistics, KN Systems Knowledge and leadership is required
Excel Expertise skills, including Macro and able to work on automation programing
IT/Systems Knowledge
