Description and Requirements
The Team is seeking a highly analytical individual who is passionate about using their data mining, reporting and root cause analysis expertise to deliver an optimal customer experience for our residential Home Services & Mobility customers.
As a business analyst, you will be responsible for writing SQL, PL-SQL, stored procedures to source and transform call center application data (IVR, voice, chat, etc..). Your core focus will be to measure ROI on new capabilities that have been deployed, creation of insights, visualizations, automated dashboards and finding new opportunities or validating the ideas.
The successful candidate will become a subject matter expert in data analysis, opportunity identification and validation. Leveraging your database knowledge and expertise you will support the establishment of dashboard metrics for business case ROI, platform performance, as well as ad hoc reporting to deep-dive and validate new opportunities using SQL, Excel, Oracle and Tableau.
As a member of the Consumer Tech ops team, you will lead our Channel in supporting our Oracle data warehousing architecture, developing web reports, automating data processes, and providing data insights and analytics.
Responsibilities:
Build, manage and maintain our Oracle databases
Develop and maintain web based reporting in Domo and Tableau
Program and automate ETL and data transformation processes
Ensure accuracy of internal and external data
Implement and track performance KPI's
Extract, cleanse and modify raw data from data warehouse, conducting data analysis
Required Knowledge:
Minimum 2 years in operational and/or data management environment including data
analytics experience.
Knowledge of contact center operations, technology and strong understanding of contact center
performance metrics or Business case metrics.
Strong database skills and knowledge: Oracle 10 and higher, SQL, JDBC, PL/SQL, No sql, Google cloud,
stored procedures/functions
Knowledge of Business Analysis methodologies
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint & Microsoft Access
Required Skills & Abilities:
Oracle/SQL
Experience with enterprise level databases
Creation, deletion, maintenance, automation of tables, view, procedures, functions
Coding experience in SQL
Setting up and maintaining automated ETL processes
Administration of Oracle/SQL databases
Google cloud, Hadoop Data lake, Web/Apache/UNIX/PHP
Design, development and maintenance of web pages
Support of web, database and file servers
Call center knowledge an asset
Tableau user experience is an advantage
Education and Certifications:
University degree or 3-5 years equivalent combination of experience and education
Required Experience:
Familiar with contact center operation systems
Experience successfully working in a highly team-oriented environment
