Job Summary
Responsible in the delivery of basic services to Sales Division as per agreed lead-time as to preparation of material and labor quotations. Responsible for the accuracy on the work out-put in the interpretations of plans, sketches and actual measurements, and quantification of bill of building products materials based on standard estimating parameter guidelines. Take actual measurements as required by the contractor/client. Provide assistance support to Sales on the technical aspect of the product.
Duties and Responsibilities
Daily
Prescreens plans, actual measurements and sketches being submitted by Sales as to completeness of details, readability, scalability and applicability of product suited for the project.
Pre-screens project name and title for any duplicity on the estimate.
Analyzes, interprets and draw sketches to generate material and labor take-off.
Prepare quotations for both materials and labor.
Conducts actual measurement.
Prepares cutting list for the job order encoding.
Analyzes and prepares amendment worksheet on the changes on specifications, additional orders, and other changes/variations as per contract specifications, pricing, and other related instructions.
Analyzes and determine the plant to produce the order considering the following factors: the profile, project site location and raw material availability.
Provides technical assistance to Sales Division.
Performs other duties that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.
Weekly
Prepares weekly accomplishment report such as; number of request for estimate (RFE) received, analyze further into no. of transactions per market segment, no. of re-quotes, etc.
Monthly
Prepares monthly reports on big projects estimated.
Qualification
Must be BS in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration graduate
License is an advantage.
With at least 3 years of experience in on cost estimating and quantity surveying, exposure to metal building products industry
Must be knowledgeable in analyzing, interpreting and plotting of drawing in AUTOCAD to generate materials and labor take-off.
Must be literate on computer / software applications.
Willing to be assigned in Visayas (Talisay, Cebu)
