Job Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As an English and Basic Programming Teacher, some of your duties and responsibilities will include:
In charge of acting as a teacher in our programming school, named Awesome Ars Academia.
In charge of teaching basic programming using English language to K1-K12 Japanese students.
In charge of teaching visual programming such as scratch, minecraft, and other visual programming languages.
Responsible for researching the latest visual programming languages with English learning in our curriculum.
Communicate with the manager or team members on issues and in providing solutions.
Assist the team in achieving the project goals and meeting the project schedule.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Computer literate
Proficiency in productivity tools (Google Suite Application, Microsoft Office, and so on)
With ESL teaching experience
Good written and communication skills
Willing to be trained for visual programming such as scratch programming.
A team player
Keen to details
Flexible and driven
Problem-solver
Willingness to support others
Willingness to teach multi-cultural students
Personality to feel happy when seeing someone's growth.
PLUS POINTS IF:
Have prior knowledge in basic programming concepts.
