Job Qualification:
• College Graduate Preferably Engineering (ME/CE/EE/IE)
• Must have a BOSH Training
• At least 2 years' experience in related position
• 25 years old and above
• Good Moral Character
• Physically Fit
Skills Required:
• MS / Outlook Proficient
• Technologically Literate
• Good in oral and written communication
• Knowledge in Basic Safety, Occupational Safety Health Standards (OSHS)-Trained
• Knowledge in Building Administration
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead in conducting safety inspections on all company's-controlled perimeter ensuring the safe working conditions and submit appropriate recommendations to control the identified hazards.
Assist the Branch Manager in identifying all potential work-related hazards and risk.
Lead awareness training for all employees and provide technical and administrative support to the emergency response team of the company.
Conduct thorough investigation for all work injury related incidents/accidents including near misses together with the Branch Officers and chaired the identification of the real root cause.
Supervise the regular mandatory safety inspection of firefighting equipment and to other cargo handling and lifting equipment ensuring the worthiness/good condition of the unit/equipment.
Take lead the risk assessment for all types of activities within the port, provided by the operation section head.
Establish and Develops Operational Control Procedure on all work instructions and procedures to ensure safe work practices are established.
Monitor the Objective Targets and Programs related to all OSH Related commitments.
Ensuring the integrity of Key Performance Indicator by checking all the data for appropriation prior to submit.
Supervise the ESH Assistant and ensuring that the established procedures are well interpreted and understood.
Take lead the in-House ESH Training required by the Admin for ESH awareness and personnel development.
Supervise the preparation and submissions of reports in a regular basis and special cases required by PCBSI, PPA and DOLE/BWC.
Supervise the strict implementation of established ESH programs and company rules and regulations.
Supervise and monitor the Daily Toolbox meeting and participate to provide day to day safety and health reminders.
