About the role
The Mid End Equipment Engineer is responsible for a cluster of equipment under the Mid End . On certain areas, they are also responsible to lead and supervise equipment technicians responsible for doing maintenance of test equipment. Primary objective of Equipment Engineer is to ensure required throughput are achieved by all production machines in his responsible area and meeting entitlement with main focus on equipment MTBA.
What you will do
Maintenance of equipment to ensure target throughput per assembly machine is achieved in production
Ensures no machine related customer complaint
Supports closure of audit findings related to machine
Monitors and analyzes uptime of equipment to come up with actions for further improvement
Promotes and ensures zero safety incidence
Support production output numbers through machine efficiency (MTBA) and uptime
Authors PO specs for new and improved machines
Conducts trainings and fan outs of best practices to equipment technicians
Develops training program and skills development for technicians
Supports machine setup and installation in support of Ramp or Obsolescence
Creates Work Instruction for new machines together with Process Engineering
Documents and conducts qualification for new and successive equipment
Conducts buy-off of new equipment at Supplier side
Identifies opportunities for improvement on efficiency of machine from daily issues encountered from technician shift reports Machine availability/utilization

What you will need
A. Work Experience:
Knowledge of Maintenance System and Experience of performing Equipment Maintenance activities is a must
Experience on equipment performance indices and measures
Can conduct equipment MTBA snapshots and capable of troubleshooting, analyzing and recommend corrective actions.
B. Education/Field of Study
Must be a graduate of BS Engineering course preferably mechanical, electrical and manufacturing
C. Professional Requirements/Skills:
Related Professional License is an advantage
D. Knowledge of specific tools
Knowledge of MS Office
Basic Statistical Tools
Problem Solving Methodology
Equipment FMEA
RCM
