Responsibilities include:
Responsible for the Calibration, Repair and Maintenance of Equipment and associated tools/system in manufacturing/assembling of Integrated Circuit products.
Evaluate, select and order equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective in the manufacturing of company products
Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
Establish programs and solutions for increasing equipment uptime (OEU/OEE) and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
Provides technical support to production unscheduled downtime relating to equipment major repairs.
Ensure highest equipment availability, utilization and stability.
Provides the analysis for machine downtime performance and improvement programs.
Timely execution of scheduled Planned, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance.
Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules.
Works with Equipment Manufacturers on Technical Notices, Upgrades and Safety Issues
Manages spares availability and cost reduction programs.
Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
General Functions:
Use of problem solving analysis process technique in documenting, reporting, sharing equipment downtime findings.
Attainment of the Equipment Engineering defined policy deployment objectives.
Conduct equipment related trainings and Qualification (Operatorship).
Manage the tracking and resolution of all equipment repair and maintenance..
Oversees the implementation and compliance to proper equipment maintenance and security standards.
Communicate timely and effective escalations.
Demonstrate the foundational disciplines for 5S and strong ESH compliance.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical engineering/ Electrical engineering/ Electronics engineering or any related field
3 years experience in any plating process, equipment and manufacturing operations.
Proficiency on equipment tools and components (i.e. AC/DC Power Supplies, Multi-meters)
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledgeable and Experience in soft and hard skill (i.e Microsoft office, SQL, PLC programming, laboratory test) is a plus.
Experience on tool monitoring and interdiction software, and equipment maintenance and documentation
Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, and SPC techniques. Experienced with semiconductor cleanroom protocol and behaviors.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationship
