Basic Purpose of the Job
To support OSPI Operations on all aspects of Engineering task to improve OEE, machine performance, process controls, new technologies and innovations and contribute to the sites overall cost savings initiatives * Reporting Relationship
Reports to Sr. Engineer * Major Duties and Responsibilities
Spearhead and drive 3D printing cost savings activities instead of conventional fabrication. This includes rapid prototyping for proof of concept for a particular mechanical part to ensure a working class prior to final fabrication.
Analyze proposals and specifications to evaluate feasibility, cost and maintenance requirements and applications.
Recommend and implement design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunction.
Performs qualification on mechanical parts (IQA) ensuring its conformance to standards and specifications which includes vendor qualification and audit.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering/ BS Mechatronics /BS Electrical Engineering/ BSECE
Preferably with knowledge in 3D Printing (FDM, ResinDLP,SLA etc.)
Preferably with knowledge in the use of Solid Works or other related 3D CAD soft wares on basic design.
Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office
Knowledgeable in using basic measuring instruments.
Proficient in oral and written English
Has good Engineering foundations
