Environmental Specialist
Pacific Spectrum Environmental Research and Consultancy, Inc. is looking for an Environmental Specialist who will be part of the PSEnvi Team located in Ortigas, Pasig City.
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
• Write and prepare EIA reports such as Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), Environmental Performance Report and Management Plan (EPRMP), Initial Environmental Examination Report (IEE), and Project Description Report (PDR)
• Perform environmental sampling and baselining for EIA requirements (e.g. sampling of surface water, marine water, working on geographic coordinates, securing of data from the local government, etc.)
• Prepare application packages for permits with different government agencies such as EMB, LLDA, PEZA, DOH, ERC, DOE, DOLE, BHDT, local government
• Coordinate with clients in securing required documents, following up and updating to ensure on-time delivery to Clients
• Liaise with government agencies to expedite release of applications
• Conduct required research to secure required information necessary for completion of reports
• Work with the supervisor / manager on preparation of proposals for submission to clients
• work on other tasks which may be assigned by the Managing Director
The candidate should have the following qualifications:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Sanitary, Civil), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), Engineering (Sanitary), Environmental Science, Science & Technology or equivalent. Master's degree is a plus.
• Required skill(s): English Technical Writing (Intermediate to High), MS Office (Intermediate).
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig.
• Preferably 2 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Environmental consulting (Preparation of EIA reports and other similar documents).
