Job Description
Lead, Drive, and Administered in overall compliance in environmental, health, and safety standards of the organization and that of the government requirements. Ensure up to date in
regulatory regulations which pertains to EHS. A zero tolerance principles is within the DNA of the organization in adhering to set rules and regulations.
Initiate, execute and Drive EHS strategical plan for the site.
Create training plan and execute accordingly that is related to EHS
A subject matter expert in the field of EHS which includes and not limited to training the whole organization.
Support and serve as facility engineer in the requirement of facility engineering & Safety
Establish and develop teams for driving EHS improvements and managing EHS programs, including site safety and environmental committees; energy teams and; behavior safety teams.
Manages and directs site in achieving EHS targets & objectives. Directs development, maintenance, and achievement of goals in support of corporate and business group EHS strategic initiatives.
Facilitates risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and environmental aspects.
Works with plant leadership team to create targets and objectives based on key EHS risks.
Determines appropriate leading and lagging indicators to track performance against targets and objectives.
Supports creation of EHS goals for the plant manager and appropriate activity base goals for the leadership team, functional managers, and front-line supervisors to drive EHS culture, compliance, and results.
Support element champions and facilitate their engagement in ownership of the EHS elements.
Drives and promotes zero incident EHS culture throughout site.
Creates and facilitates EHS engagement through EHS teams and committees needed to accomplish the established targets and objectives for the year.
Works with leadership team and EHS element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance for country regulations.
Uses established EHS data processes such as Velocity to manage data such as injuries and illnesses, environmental metrics, risk assessments, EHS action items and other pertinent information.
Create training matrices to ensure that all training is defined and tracked to completion
Work with site leadership team and facilities to ensure that all key EHS operational controls are in place, on a PM program, and that EHS action items are resolved on a timely basis.
Work on EHS compliance to legal and other requirements associated with regulatory, country and other requirements.
Supervise onsite contractors EHS activities in order to ensure compliance with the EHS Permit requirement.
Work on Velocity in order to track and trend EHS data and utilize Safety Data Sheet database in order to have accurate chemical inventory information.
Lead EHS team to prepare, submit and distributes required reports in compliance with regulatory agencies in order to ensure timely submittals.
Monitor and follow EHS law and regulatory revisions & actions required
Advises and counsels other department with regards to regulatory compliance issues and keeps them informed of any changes or EHS program enhancements in order to ensure that other departments is able to make informed decisions with regards to EHS issues.
Drive the Emergency Response Team to coordinates emergency response efforts.
Act as Pollution Control Officer of the plant and follows duties and responsibilities of the PCO in compliance with DAO 2014-02.
Lead EHS team to complete EHS Task list on time related to project expansions. This includes support to Management of Change deployment, training, and permits applications and follow-ups to regulatory.
Report all EH&S data as required by company and applicable legal requirements.
Ensure additional EH&S expertise and resources are identified as needed and requests made to the Plant Manager.
Encourage management recognition of behaviors and results which drive EH&S improvements.
As Pollution Control Officer of the plant and follows duties and responsibilities of the PCO in compliance with DAO 2014-02
Ensure that the EMS conforms to the requirements of ISO 14001-2015
EHS management system is up to date to ensure compliance.
Full fill RBA requirements
Professional Experience-
BS Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electronics or equivalent
10+ years experience and practitioner in the field of Environmental Heath and Safety in similar industry. Electronics Manufacturing Environment.
License and certified practitioner in the country. Wide exposure in EHS
Broad knowledge in government rules and regulations in handling environment, health and safety.
