About the job Environment Artist
Strong communication ability, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Realistic focus and firm observation on high-quality models and textures with physically based rendering (PBR) workflow production
Strong knowledge on creation and engine integration of assets following both vision and technical project demand
Assets and level optimization maintaining performance and quality
Advanced skills in both architectural and organic environment with modular workflow
Passionate for providing truly immersion to the player guiding mechanics through the environment scenes
Strong attention to detail, shape, scale, and volumes, as well as, great concept art read and interpretation
Familiar with tiling texture workflows and material implementation systems
Work closely with Designers in visual prototypes providing functional gray mesh
Well organized and highly optimized workflow to match production schedule
Skills & Requirements
3 or more years creating assets and environments for game development
Strong understanding of next-gen game engine limitations and optimization pipelines
Strong skills in Unreal Engine, Maya, Substance Painter, and Zbrush
Strong ability to follow and grow a specific art style
Desirable
Knowledge of Substance Designer and tiling material production
Excellent art foundations, composition, and color implementation
Knowledge of cinematic lighting theory and uses
Open to find and research for solutions both technical and artistically demanding.
