Basic Purpose of the Job
Transfer new products into production in the shortest time with sufficient quality and efficiency. Support continuous improvement of existing products in terms of yield, cost, and quality.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Develops ATE manufacturing test solutions for Mixed-Signal ASICs
Completes test release and product transfer to manufacturing in the shortest time possible
Gather and analyze test data to improve, simplify, and optimize test solutions
Executes capacity improvement initiatives such as multi-site/tester platform conversion
Collaborates with Product Engineering/Operations in resolving potential manufacturing issues
Interfaces with Marketing, BU stakeholders, Manufacturing & Product Engineering on a global scale
Participate in cross functional teams
Ability to work in an environment where quality, cost and delivery is of utmost importance
Requires limited supervision and is evaluated according to project performance
Coaches and mentors less experienced staff; influences others as a technical leader
Solves complex, novel, and non-recurring problems; initiates some changes to existing processes/methods and leads development and implementation
Qualifications * Job Specifications
Education
BS or MS EE or ECE degree with strong knowledge in electronics, circuit analysis, semiconductor technology, and software programming.
Experience
At least 7 years of equivalent / related work in a Semiconductor company
Skills
The candidate must also have strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, and be able to work effectively in a self-directed environment
Must have mastery of mixed-signal methodology.
Must have mastery of C++ programming languages, C, and VB.
Experienced in ATE Teradyne Eagle platforms (ETS88, ETS364, ETS800)
