- Lead Supplier Quality engineering for critical direct materials like lead-frames, Ceramic, Glass, tape and reel materials, mold compound, wire, solder paste and etc.
- Drive standardization of processes across multiple WW factories SQE/IQA (Material Verification, Supplier Assessments, Qualification, etc.)
- Develop and monitor new and existing suppliers to ensure quality objectives are achieved
- Lead supplier qualification audits and follow-up with suppliers on corrective and prevention actions
- Partner with Global Commodity Managers in reducing cost of materials and components while maintaining a high sensitivity of quality
- Develop processes to identify potential problems and improvements with design and new products specification
- Drive and ensure Critical Direct Materials supplier with built-in quality from product development to mass production phases
- Collaborate with manufacturing and R&D engineers to improve overall product quality by emphasizing defect prevention throughout the development process
- Tracking, management and reporting for the assigned quality initiative programs
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related discipline
- With 5-10 year's working experience in engineering, quality, supply chain or equivalent
- Working experience on Imaging Sensor product and class 10 clean room environment is preference
- Ability to travel independently in domestic and international markets
- Candidate with IATF16949/VDA 6.3 and certified Lead Auditor is preferred but not required
- Experience with PPAP/APQP/DFMEA/PFMEA/Control Plan and DFM/DFQ
- Ability to read and interpret schematics & drawings
- Strong time management / project management capabilities
- Mastery of Six Sigma methodologies
- Knowledge of Process Certification/Process Robustness
- Solid analytic and articulation skills
- Semiconductor Process/Manufacturing experience
