Primary technical leader and liason for an NPD project.
Coordinates with the Project Manager (PM) to ensure successful achievement of the technical objectives and milestones established in the Project Plan.
Supplies the technical scope and resource information.
Key interface to the PM, the project team and customer for technical matters. The TL and PM engage in active communication regarding the technical and schedule status on a regular and on-going basis throughout the project.
Manages and coaches engineering and development resources in the project team to ensure that the product meets the product technical specification and schedule.
Ensures that it is compliant with ON Semiconductor's New Product Development Methodology (12MON55184E and 12MQE00004A) and creates all the required technical deliverables per phase of the project.
Qualifications
A graduate of Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Have minimum 10 years experience in a Semiconductor company.
Have package and process development experience in a Semiconductor company is an advantage.
Experience in SPC, DOE, FMEA and APQP.
Knowledge on different processes and common materials used in Semiconductor packaging.
Proficient in technical report writing ad possess good written and oral communication skills.
