Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and optimization of Assembly processes for new materials, machines and processes in terms of robustness, yield and reliability
Performs design of experiments (DOE) and other types of evaluations related to the characterization and development of new materials, machines and processes
Works in close collaboration with Product, Design, Process and Production personnel in characterization and development of new materials, machines and processes
Responsible in handing over the evaluated and qualified processes to NPI and Production Teams
Qualifications
Job Specifications:
Education
Engineering graduate (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics or Material Science)
Experience
Minimum 5 years hands on experience as Process Development Engineer, with a specific Assembly process expertise - knowledge in Die Attach, Wafer Saw and Wirebond processes, an advantage
Skills
Specific Assembly Process expertise
Working knowledge of DOE / SPC / RCCA
Working knowledge on large scale, safe launch and pre-production releases
Working knowledge on Control Plan / FMEA, 8D and Problem Solving
Competencies
Good interpersonal skills in collaborating with support groups
Highly motivated to work in a dynamic environment, with good integrity and character
Basic understanding of and ability to apply statistical analysis
Ability to multi-task and organize work systematically in meeting deadlines without compromising quality
