Responsibilities:
Maintains an effective, efficient, and comprehensive maintenance program including but not limited to documentation records and a recall system.
Reviews and performs daily activities/work schedules related to the repair and maintenance (preventive or predictive) of HVAC, NVCA, POWER including auxiliary equipment and systems.
Manages the maintenance of Wastewater Treatment Plant, Reverse Osmosis/ Deionized Water System, Domestic Water System, Sewage Treatment Plant, Fume Scrubber and Fire Protection System to support uninterrupted supply of these utilities to the entire factory.
Physically audits facilities operations at regular intervals to verify compliance to facilities procedures and various company audits/programs (EHS, ISO9000, QS9000, etc.).
Implements continuous improvement activities and actively participates in cost saving and various energy conservation measures.
Maintains clean, orderly, and safe facilities, working areas (shop, storage room); also, facilities equipment areas (central plant, machine rooms, substations, and the like).
Tracks critical spare parts and centralized tools/instrument; maintains facilities shop and storage room of Facilities Operations.
To implement & keep abreast with predictive maintenance methods & techniques.
Performs other functions and activities that may be assigned from time to time in support of production and other departments.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in either Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
With at least 3 to 4 years of experience in semiconductor/ manufacturing industry
Extensive working knowledge on the operation, control, maintenance, and repair of pumps, electric motors, fans, blowers, electrical and power panels, air-conditioning equipment (centralized, packaged & unitary units)
Basic knowledge and exposure on the fundamentals of semiconductor manufacturing processes plus understanding of OSHA, Safety and other regulatory standards, policies, and procedures
Basic knowledge in facilities design and installation
Effective communication (verbal & written) skills with information management abilities
Computer literate and proficient in MS Office
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in areas of facilities operations and maintenance
