Performs failure analysis on devices, circuits, and characterization of packages, materials or component and generate comprehensive report.
Provides analytical assistance to process, product and quality engineers in the analysis of material, process and product-related problems.
Supervise and manage workload to meet laboratory goals. and initiates continuous improvement.
Develop and implement new failure analysis methods.
Initiates continuous improvement (5S, Safety, and process enhancements).
Ensure compliance on Global standardization and the best practices in the Laboratory.
Qualifications
Graduate of Engineering course.
Experience in Failure Analysis (in a Semiconductor Fabrication/Manufacturing set-up), preferred but not required.
Knowledge in Physical & Electrical Failure Analysis Techniques.
Knowledge in Environmental Stress Testing and Stress Test Equipment.
Knowledge in industry standards and publications pertaining to reliability, stress test methods, semiconductor packaging, and failure analysis.
Able to understand component characteristics and specifications (especially Transistors, Diodes, Logic, Analog, and Opto devices) and their applications.
Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written); with capability to interface throughout all levels and functions.
