ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The required position will be responsible but not limited to the functions below:
 Day to day support to Test and Product Engineers;
 perform hardware buy-off such as loop testing, spike check, GRR, open socket, reverse insertion and other activities;
 Perform bench testing and characterization;
 Perform hardware modification as requested;
 Generate purchase requests and provide logistics support;
 Keep test hardware, ATE and lab equipment in good condition;
 Perform repair, calibration and PM as needed;
 Generate hardware buy-off and characterization reports;
 Provide support to manufacturing needs as requested by Supervisor;
 Conduct training to new colleagues;
 Perform Lab 5S.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
 Graduate of at least 2 year course related to electronics;
 Familiar with lab equipment;
 Basic understanding of electronic circuits and principles;
 Good communication skills;
 Exposed to operation and maintenance of various ATEs like Eagle test system and ASLIK;
 Ability to perform hardware repair like replacing surface mount components;
 Ability to generate proto-type hardware;
 Knowledge in generating reports using MS Office;
 Familiar with lab 5S and safety standards.
EXPERINCE/SKILLS:
 2 years experience in Product and Test Engineering related tasks;
 At least 1 year experience in operating lab equipment;
 Experience in operating and maintenance of Eagle test system and ASLIK is a plus;
 Proficient in Laboratory 5S and Safety standards.
