Engineering SupervisorWorld Class Laminate Inc.

The engineering supervisor is responsible for overseeing operations in the engineering department. He/She ensures all operations meet budget needs, project goals, specifications .To create a product design that fulfills a company or client's strategic goals while integrating the needs of marketing, sales and manufacturing departments. They oversee research and design teams, lead testing procedures and draft specifications for manufacturing. They direct the creation of models or samples and fine-tune designs until they are ready for production.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with Company Policy.
Follow all standard operating procedure.
Follow all safe work practices.
Making improvements or modifications to current processes
Setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision
Responsible for the design, development, modification and implementation of equipment and processes to aid in the overall manufacturing process.
Organizing workflow and ensuring that engineering staff understand their duties or delegated tasks
Recording and analyzing data
Lead and facilitate problem solving and cross functional teams to resolve product/process issues for manufacturing processes and products
Supervising a number of projects at once.
Prepare Sample Development Plan (MIRC-EN-003) and conduct meeting to all department concern to discuss the process of sample development.
Prepare the document required such as draft process or work instruction and/or visual aids, process control plan , BOM, Product Process Route, NCT program and jigs or tools if/when needed.
Produce product sample to evaluate and validate the process, jigs and tools.
Evaluate and conduct First Article Inspection to the product sample produced using First Article Inspection Report (MIRC-EN-001).
Monitor the set KPM by management if met and establish actions for missed target.
Directly interface with production planning/production control to ensure commitments, schedules, and obligations are met
Assist procurement in supplier selection and validation of supplier process capabilities and process controls.
Performs other duties as assigned by General Manager /Operation Manager.
Bachelor's Degree/ College Degree in Engineering or related field is required
Knowledge AutoCad and Solid Works Application
Good in communication skills, Work with customers to determine their needs and then recommend the right product to solve the customer's problem, Stress Tolerance
