The Engineering Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Product Engineering team comprising of New Program Introduction (NPI), Change Management (CM), and Component Maintenance Publication (CMP) team operating in the Philippines manufacturing facility.
Provides strategic & tactical leadership and management
Maintains & Control the product configuration and ensure to deliver the following engineering work to support production :
- CBOM/MBOM creation
- Electronic Work instruction creation and revision
- Bill of Process creation
- JDE (MRP) attribute data entry
- Engineering Data required by production
- Production Workflow
- ECN, JCR, & DQN Implementation
- CMP Creation
- Other work packages as identified
Supports the timely introduction of New Products/Program, HOV's, & NCI's
Supports daily manufacturing issues through root-cause analysis & problem solving, drive projects to improve productivity and resolve operational issues
Continuously improve the methods, procedures and working practices to support the Galley & Lavatory production builds
- Drive the team & Sustain the operating Metrics, Control Tower, improve and define working practices and processes for efficient work package creation and execution
- Communicate effectively and professionally to internal and external management, the progress and status of each work package
- To define, delegate and report status of the work packages
Works with production, planning, quality, supply chain, and warehouse functions
Provides strategic & tactical leadership and management of the team
Manages multiple work packages, as per business need.
Maintains the engineering quality and integrity of the work package
From time to time, be prepared to undertake other tasks as requested by their immediate supervisors.
Leads & Implements Improvements Projects
Qualifications:
Graduate of Engineering Course
5 years experience in Bill of Materials, Process Engineering, Work Instructions and Manufacturing Engineering
Highly dependable and hard working
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
