MVP Asia Pacific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Engineering Lead - Operations for one of our clients based in US. The company is a leader in the entertainment industry specializing in ticketing for live events.
The Engineering Lead is responsible for developing scalable software systems and leading a high-performing engineering team building products and services that power the company to sell the most tickets in the world. You will own the successes and failures of the inventory management team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Drive effective and on time projects that support your area of ownership while leading a team of engineers
• Design and implement innovative engineering solutions in your area of ownership
• Develop deep domain expertise and represent your area of ownership when collaborating on business requirements, technical strategy, and tactical execution
• Collaborate and influence product releases and requirements when working with the product team
To be successful, you should be:
• A degree holder in Information Technology, Engineering, or any related field.
• Has strong written communication skills - both short-form (Slack/Email) as well as long-form (product guides, design documents, etc)
• Working with users of your products; always eager to learn more about their problems
• You're a seeker - you are always looking for way to improve yourself
• You enjoy troubleshooting problems for anyone!
• You're organized
• Deep understanding of AWS and its event-driven services (serverless)
• DevOps is near and dear to your heart and you have implemented multiple CI/CD pipelines
• Has experience in Python and have a sufficiently deep understanding of modern data engineering practices
• Highly Desirable:
o Skilled at using Datadog for application and infrastructure monitoring
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
