ENGINEERING HEAD
Job Description
· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
· At least 12 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
· Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Maintenance/ Repair (Facilities & Machineries)
Duties and Responsibilities
· Must have worked minimum 12 years on floor looking after maintenance activities at a higher position in a medium sized organization
· Must have complete knowledge of Air compressors, chillers, Steam boilers, Cooling towers, Water treatment plant
· Thorough knowledge on Gear boxes, agitators, vacuum systems, Lean and dense phase air conveying systems, Rotary feeders, Screw conveyors, pumps and blowers is essential.
· Knowledge on Extrusion systems would be an added advantage.
· Develop a preventive maintenance plan for all equipment including utilities and get it implemented
· Ensure records keeping for the machine maintenance activities
· Trouble shooting and attending to any Mechanical/Electrical breakdown in the plant
· Ensure all Engineering employees are trained and knowledgeable to handle all equipment breakdown
· Plan inventory of critical maintenance spares and cost controls
· Follow up with vendors for purchase of spares at the most optimal price
· Prepare and submit a maintenance budget every year for approval
· Ensure all costs are maintained within the budgeted numbers.
