QUALIFICATIONS:
Male, physically fit
Graduate of Engineering or Technical course
Preferably with electrical, mechanical, industrial and engineering work experience
Experience as Air Condition Technician is an advantage
Must be able to communicate in all levels of organization
FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sustain the suitability of the Hospital by maintaining the good and working condition of the hospital premises, facilities and equipments.
1. Directly responsible for dispatching, receiving and ascertaining the acceptable quality of oxygen tanks.
2. Monitors the monthly consumption of oxygen.
3. Conducts proper installation and extraction of oxygen tanks to the centralized oxygen system (pipe - in).
4. Directly responsible for the diligent monitoring of water consumption and electric consumption
5. Monitors and ensures the efficient working conditions of the water pump, electric generator and other equipments used in the providing uninterrupted supply of water and electricity to the hospital.
6. Monitors, repairs, and ensures the safety within capacity of electrical wiring, equipments and facilities of the hospital.
7. Performs electrical works, carpentry works, paintings, masonry, plumbing, welding, and cleaning of air-con and other repair works.
8. Directly responsible for the production of other hospital equipments like IV stand and others, hospital furniture and fixtures like table and chairs, etc.
9. Prepare requisitions on engineering items and other supplies for procurement based on the established protocol on the procurement of materials needed.
10. Assist in the establishment and implementation of policies and procedures of the Engineering in accordance with the policies of the hospital.
11. Be courteous, helpful and polite to all patients at all times.
12. Attends and participates in meetings and seminars.
13. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.
14. Perform duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.
15. Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures.
