Review long term area project trend and control compliance, highlight significant issues to area process engineer the variations to design & identify probable improvement projects
Evaluate list of projects and conduct project scoring and prioritization
Recommends with Operations and Process engineering team the value, delivery, and estimated cost of the identified improvement projects
Manages delivery of projects including feasibility study/conceptualization, trial plans, design basis, business case and non-capital implementation
Work hand in hand with Process Engineer to established guidelines, standard operating procedures and work instructions related to Project, where there is none
Perform data gathering activities such as conducting observations, taking measurements, and devising alternative methods and solutions to gather data
Coordinate with all concerned operations, maintenance and support groups/departments including consultants/specialists in the implementation of process improvement projects/initiatives
Monitor and analyze results of process improvement projects/initiatives
Implement established management systems standards, company policies and procedures including environment, health and safety and security rules and regulations in the area of assignment or responsibility
Prepare detailed reports or research, studies, and experiments to provide recommendations and/or action plans
Conduct safety walk, audit, and present findings to assist plant safety performance (SI/CCV/FHP/PTO)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering, must be licensed
Desirable: At least (2) two years' experience in laboratory setting with metal processing industry/heavy industry
Desirable: Knowledge on Basic Statistical Tools, hydrometallurgy, electrometallurgy and laboratory equipment operation
Desirable: Knowledge in Financial Analysis, delivery estimation, project scoring and prioritization, cost evaluation, project scoping and identification
Desirable: Knowledge on Power Plant & Utilities operations (Compressed Air Systems, Energy, Fuel, Water & Steam Handling Systems)
Knowledge in Project Planning, implementation & monitoring
Data Management (PI and Power BI)
Computer Skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
