About the role:
This role is to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness of assigned machine/station/area. This includes qualification, maintenance and release of new tooling / equipment platforms.
What you will do:
Perform machine and process capability studies on assigned station.
Through machine capability studies, develop and implement machine/tool improvement strategies.
Prioritize and develop projects based on critical needs.
Work with multi-functional team to achieve project goals.
Optimize current equipment/tool set-up using statistical method (i.e. OEE, Availability, MTBA, MTBF, MTTR, DOE, SPC) to meet customer and internal requirements.
Develop and update equipment related documents such as RCA, Machine FMEA, Machine OCAP, etc for equipment performance improvements.
Provide/Support evaluation reports, executive summary reports, and 8D reports to customer.
Support immediate supervisor, Process, QA, and Manufacturing for customer, internal, and/or certification audits.
Provide/share technical information related to current station such as best practices, breakthroughs and quick wins to colleagues from other sites as necessary.
What you will need:
Knowledgeable in Central Die Preparation machines is an advantage
Knowledgeable in Autocad, Solidworks or 3D softwares, good in Technical Drawing and Metrology is an advantage.
Computer literate (MS Office, SAS JMP or Minitab) and knowledgeable in OEE, RCM, MTBA, MTBF, MTTR, SPC, DOE, machine FMEA
With Basic Knowledge in Project Management Fundamentals, RCM (Reliability Center Maintenance), Lean Six Sigma
Good communication and inter-personal skills
Presentation Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Preferably Mechanical, Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering
With at least 4 years of experience in Equipment Engineering or Maintenance in related semiconductor assembly.
