About the role
Front of Line - Process Engineer for DACA/3rd Opt AOI
What you will do
Maximize capability of the integrated AOI systems within the machine or process step
Continuously identify risks of the in-process AOI systems and implement improvements, prevent escapee/spill-over
Responsible for installing post-process AOI systems to detect and sort defects that are not detectable in-process
Performs escapee cause analysis, technical simulation studies and corrective actions for spill-over and customer complaints
Continuously identify new vision technology and capability
Standardization of AOI specifications and requirements based on learnings and best practice.
Optimize current processes using statistical method (DOE, SPC, etc) to meet customer and internal requirements
Perform capability studies
Monitor and improve quality and business indices such as yield, LRR, NCRB, occurrence and cost
Support multi-functional team/lead person for evaluation reports, summary reports, 8D, audits, handling of new customer product introduction, qualifications
Develop and update process related documents such as FMEA, OCAP, Control plan, etc for process improvements
Benchmarking and implementing best practices
Work with multi-functional team to achieve project goals
