Cobotics - Engineer | Smart Work Bench - Engineers
In this newly created position, you will be supporting the implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies such as Cobotics, and smart work instructions within our manufacturing facilities. You will work closely with Operations and Engineering in co-development mode to ensure a seamless transition upon reaching maturity and to address current challenges encountered within the business
Develop and implement industrial technology projects, advanced production techniques, digital solutions, industry 4.0 projects in line with a global roadmap, interacting with all key stakeholders (Safety, Lean, Quality, Production, Maintenance, Systems, external suppliers, others).
Lead, define and develop Industry 4.0 activities designed to improve operational performance as a multidisciplinary engineering team member.
Coach and facilitate teams and individuals to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Design, analyze, develop, test, and integrate control and software systems for cobotics and visual inspection
Innovate to discover solutions that enhance the relationship between operators and robots
Actively and passionately participate in hands on manufacturing, robotics, and coding
Conceptualizes and design innovative solutions to a variety of applications.
Design of entire machine cells combining, fixturing, automation, visual systems
Prepare technical documentation, develop specifications, and monitor the progress of projects.
Stay current on any Industry 4.0 technology changes that may affect our activity and advise others of any impact.
Familiarity with software such as a LabView/Python or C++ would be big plus.
Experience in visual inspection and quality - Past work as operator would be a big plus
