Job Description Summary:
Employee relations specialist need to have an exceptional interpersonal skill for the position of employee relations specialist. Employee relations specialists are responsible for collecting and analyzing employee data, organizing and updating employee files, and overseeing employee orientation and training, among other duties. Moreover, employee relations specialist will need to have extensive knowledge of employment law and adhere to company and industry regulations at all times.
Recruitment Specialist to undertake all hiring activities, from advertising open roles to interviewing candidates and closing hires. Recruitment Specialist responsibilities include connecting with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications and supporting hiring managers. Ultimately, you will be responsible for hiring qualified people while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities
Employee Relations :
• Implement/Enforce the Employee Code of Conduct in the organization
• Conduct employee consultations to check compliance with the Code of Conduct as well as enforcement of the disciplinary actions and sanction,
• Conduct investigations on cases brought up to HR.
• Collect and 201 filing of DA documents for effective enforcement of the progressive discipline procedure
• Performing employee background checks and verifying information.
• Liaising between employees and management.
• Conduct orientation, training, and information dissemination and other employee relations matters with new and existing employees.
• Represent the company on court hearings for 3rd party claims and other legal cases in coordination with the company lawyers.
Recruitment:
• Build and report on quarterly and annual hiring plans
• Create and publish job ads in various portals
• Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events
• Collaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for future employees
• Screen resumes and job applications
• Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates
• Interview candidates in-person for a wide range of roles (junior, senior and executive)
• Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire
• Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys
• Train and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods
• Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
• Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings
Job Qualifications & Skills Requirements :
Graduate of Human Resource Management, Psychology or any related field
With at least five (3) years of working knowledge and experience in the related field is required for the position.
Requires a working knowledge of some aspect of an HR function, and an understanding of HR policies and procedures
Demonstrated knowledge of labor and employment law.
High capacity for managing multiple tasks at one time
Ability to effectively manage high volume administrative tasks, data entry and high accuracy
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), and able to build strong interpersonal relationships with employees and partners.
Strong analytical with high-attention to details, organizational skills and possess a good leadership style.
Hands-on experience with the largest job sites like Jobstreet, BestJobs, and Indeed
Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, & etc.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook tools, Excel and basic reporting tools
Ability to navigate multiple computer system windows, applications, and utilize search tools to find information.
