WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE
Responsible for diagnosing and repairing machine and PLC faults and optimising the operation of machinery and product quality.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES
Diagnosing and rectifying faults and providing solutions to prevent re-occurrence of faults.
Repairing/replacing components as required. Keeping abreast of machine developments by understanding manufacturers' machine manuals.
Liaising with team leaders & communicating with all levels of the workforce.
Reading and understanding machine drawings and identifying required parts.
Understand and develop health and safety aspects of their work and learn about potential hazards, know and maintain required control measures to keep their workplace healthy and safe.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of engineering or any related degree. Relevant vocational course is also acceptable.
Experienced in fault diagnosis and repair of machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Experienced in food, drink, or tobacco manufacturing.
Able to communicate in English.
Motivated to learn.
Amenable to work in shifting schedule.
