Duties and Responsibilities:
Installs, maintains and repairs motor controls and accessories.
Checks and services plant appliances.
Conducts repairs of air-conditioning units and accessories, heaters, welding machines, electric fans and other electrical appliances.
Renders monthly preventive maintenance servicing of all air-conditioning units and records abnormalities and action taken.
Assists re-winder in the rewinding of burnt electrical motors.
Replaces busted bulbs and other lighting facilities within the plant.
Assist in the installation of power lines to ongoing expansion projects.
Renders weekly preventive maintenance serving of portable disc grinders, electrical drill and laboratory equipment.
Cleans motor and motor control center.
Lubricates motor bearings.
Records daily KWH meter reading of Substation on logbook provided.
Installs, maintains and repairs plant intercom units.
Generator set tender during power failure.
Check ampere loads of all running motors during plant operation.
Performs preventive maintenance as per planned and scheduled by Electrical Inspector and approved by Electrical Supervisor.
Records daily accomplishments on logbook provided.
Observes safety and proper housekeeping in the work area.
Performs other jobs as instructed by the immediate superior.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must possess at least Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate in any field.
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Excellent Knowledge of motor technology, Good communications skills, ability to listen and follow instructions, excellent practical skills, ability to solve problems, an enthusiasm for cars and other motor vehicles
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery) or equivalent.
